The indictment lists conspiracy to commit wire fraud, sports bribery, money laundering, and honest services fraud. Prosecutors allege Davis served as an intermediary for a financial loan intended to settle gambling obligations. According to federal documents, this arrangement was leveraged to influence Beasley’s statistical output during the 2023–2024 campaign.
The complaint specifies that rebounding totals across at least four contests appear to have aligned with betting directives.

Federal records highlight a March 10, 2024 contest against the Los Angeles Clippers, where Beasley recorded a notable rebounding effort. Market data shows wagers exceeding $5,000 were placed on that specific prop. U.S. Attorney Joseph Nocella Jr. noted that insider betting arrangements exploiting league information compromise sports integrity.Co-defendants include former player agent Paolo Zamorano, who also entered a not guilty plea, alongside Ernesto Plascencia, Robert Gorodetsky, and William Brown, who await arraignment.
