Play’n GO has introduced Crabby’s Gold II, a new video slot built on a six-reel layout with 4096 ways to win. The title continues the publisher’s pirate series while shifting focus toward character models and coastal scenery.
The game operates on a 6×3 grid and features a crew of distinct characters, cursed currency, and a central treasure chest. Symbol artwork includes pirate portraits, navigational tools, and nautical items arranged against a dusk-lit shoreline backdrop. The visual design prioritizes detailed character models and environmental props over large-scale effects.
Developer Perspective
Magnus Wallentin, Games Ambassador at Play’n GO, stated that the project allowed the studio to approach pirate narratives with a revised tone. He noted that the humorous direction extends across all visual elements, from character models to the surrounding coastal setting. Crabby’s Gold II joins the publisher’s current catalog as a direct sequel to the original title.
