Entain has finalized the sale of a 20% stake in its Central and Eastern Europe division to EMMA Capital. The transaction establishes a valuation benchmark for the company’s upcoming divestment of its Italian operations.
The agreement represents the first phase of Entain’s asset restructuring across European markets. EMMA Capital now holds a minority position in the CEE segment, while Entain retains majority ownership and direct management control. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Valuation Framework for Future Disposals
The CEE sale sets a pricing reference for subsequent asset transactions. Entain plans to apply the same valuation methodology when preparing its Italian business for market exit. The company has not yet confirmed a timeline or identified potential buyers for the Italy division.
